Job summary

CSX Corporation seeks an experienced Supervisor to lead servicing, repair, inspection, and preventative maintenance of railcars, locomotives, and equipment. You will enforce CSX safety rules and FRA/AAR regulations while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and production.

You will manage personnel, schedule workloads, and develop staff to meet business objectives in a 24/7 environment, including on-call rotations and weather exposure. Join CSX’s safety and performance-driven team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/2-year Degree required.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in Mechanical Operations, Transportation, Logistics, Rail Operations, or Military.
• High School Diploma/GED accepted with 3+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute safety plan and oversee maintenance and repair of railcars and locomotives.
• Lead safety briefings and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Monitor FRA, AAR, and CSX standards and implement improvements.
• Coach and develop team; manage staffing and resources.
• Forecast daily shop and yard workload to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
