Job summary

Sasser in the United States is seeking an Operations Supervisor to drive CF Rail Services' railcar repair operations. You will lead projects from customer coordination through successful completion, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage 1–20 technicians, enforce procedures, and optimize production while maintaining regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes staff development, performance reviews, and strong collaboration with multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP Workforce Now for timekeeping.
• Strong phone and in-person customer service skills.
• Collaborative team player with leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Proven interviewing and performance review skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and enforce railcar safety procedures.
• Supervise 1-20 employees servicing railcars to meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Plan and supervise production to meet priorities and customer needs on time.
• Coordinate repairs to meet customer, CFRS, and regulatory quality standards.
• Maintain materials and supplies for safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate reporting with customers, engineers, estimators, vendors, and site management.
• Support hiring, development, and performance evaluations.
