Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation team in the New York City Metro Area, focusing on rail infrastructure projects with NYCT, MNR, LIRR, PATH, Amtrak, and NJ Transit. The role emphasizes strong client relationships and leadership across project planning, budgeting, and risk management.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in infrastructure or transit projects, a NYS PE license, and a track record with public transportation agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or transit projects.
• Experience with rail infrastructure and public transportation agencies.
• Professional Engineering license in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide constructability reviews and plan construction activities.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and logistics to meet schedules and budgets.
• Identify project risks and mitigate to meet milestones.
• Prepare cost and risk analyses and client claims.
• Maintain strong client liaison and relationships.
• Ensure safety and QA compliance.
