Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects across the MTA and LIRR networks in New York City. The role focuses on delivering heavy civil and rail/transit construction on time, safely, and within budget.

Candidates should have proven project management experience in heavy civil or rail environments, with strong skills in coordination with public agencies, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet demanding schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within heavy civil infrastructure or rail/transit construction.
• Experience delivering projects for public transit agencies is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of structural concrete, excavation, foundations, and civil works.

Responsabilités

• Manage heavy civil and transit infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Oversee construction activities on MTA and LIRR projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field supervision, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout construction.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and contract administration.
• Liaise with public agencies including MTA and LIRR and their representatives.
• Oversee works involving structural concrete, excavation, foundations, rail infrastructure, and station improvements.
• Coordinate around active rail operations, restricted access, track outages, and tight schedules.
• Identify and resolve technical, contractual, and delay issues.
• Ensure compliance with agency specs, safety regulations, quality standards, and contracts.
