Olsson’s Rail Traffic team seeks a Senior Engineer to lead traffic engineering and railroad coordination nationwide. You will own project delivery, interact with clients, and develop technical leadership in a niche market.

Expect collaboration with Class I railroads, state DOTs and local agencies, with occasional job-site travel and strong emphasis on design and analysis in traffic operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is required or holdable.
• 8+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Traffic engineering design experience and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead rail traffic projects with client interaction and delivery ownership.
• Review plans/studies and coordinate with teams on complex projects.
• Support site visits and travel to client sites as needed.
