Olsson is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Rail Traffic team to lead traffic engineering and railroad coordination efforts. You will own project delivery, engage with clients, and coordinate with Class I railroads, state DOTs, and other consultants to improve safety and mobility nationwide.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, site visits, plan reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on delivering successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and field observations.
• Review and prepare plans and/or studies.
• Collaborate with team on complex projects.
• Travel to job sites for observations and client meetings as needed.
