Job summary

Olsson’s Rail Traffic team seeks a Senior Engineer to lead traffic engineering and railroad coordination efforts on Nationwide projects. You will interact with clients, manage project delivery, and contribute to safety and mobility enhancements for rail corridors.

The role offers direct client exposure, ownership of deliverables, and opportunities to develop expertise in traffic and preemption design while collaborating with Class I railroads and state agencies. Travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, review plans, and prepare analyses.
• Own project delivery and coordinate with project teams.
• Collaborate closely with clients, DOTs, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
