Job summary

Olsson in Dallas is seeking a Project Engineer for our Rail Traffic team. You will support traffic and preemption analysis, assist with plan review, and coordinate with clients, state DOTs, and other stakeholders on mobility projects nationwide.

You’ll travel occasionally to job sites, collaborate with engineers, and develop skills in project delivery and client service while expanding your technical leadership beyond design work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic and preemption analysis and design.
• Conduct site visits and contribute to review and preparation of plans and studies.
• Collaborate closely with team members on complex projects.
• Occasional travel to job sites for observation and client meetings.
