Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in rail logistics, transportation, supply chain, carrier management, or related field.
• Experience working with railroads, rail-served customers, or rail transportation providers preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with focus on customer service, profitability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with railroads, customers, and transportation partners.
• Coordinate rail shipments, equipment availability, and transportation performance.
• Support rail rate negotiations and transportation cost management.
• Manage railcar utilization, fleet visibility, and service issues.
• Resolve transportation challenges and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
• Analyze freight performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting to support customer commitments.
