Job summary

Egis is seeking a Maintenance and Facility Manager for our Sacramento, CA office to work on the California High-Speed Rail (HSR) project. This full-time role requires relocation for non-local candidates and a strong background in rail maintenance, asset management, and facility planning.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the rail industry: design, construction, and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years in a management or equivalent role overseeing rail infrastructure maintenance.
• High technical expertise in HSR infrastructure maintenance and asset management.
• Experience on a new high-speed rail line project.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME within the California HSR Authority.
• Define maintenance requirements and asset management policies.
• Maintain asset inventory, criticality classification, and maintenance programs.
• Define end-of-design support facilities and support designers through construction.
• Manage maintenance facilities for HSR, including OCC and railhead areas.
• Directly oversee a rolling stock expert and matrix-manage discipline experts.
