Job summary

Egis Group, a global architecture and engineering firm, seeks a BIM Manager - Rail & Systems for our Sacramento, CA office on the California High-Speed Rail project. The role requires leading BIM strategy, coordinating multi-discipline models, and ensuring standards and data integrity.

You will oversee interfaces with civil, signaling, telecom, and track teams, drive training, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations. Relocation may be required for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years as BIM Manager on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience on railway projects.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and manage BIM strategy for Rail & Systems on the California HSR project.
• Coordinate production and integration of BIM models across teams and disciplines.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements, standards, and client expectations.
• Lead BIM meetings; train and support teams in BIM tools and processes.
• Manage BIM interfaces with other project areas (civil works, equipment, operations).
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and security of digital data.
• Prepare BIM documentation (standards, conventions, procedures).
