Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks an experienced Test Director to lead and oversee all RADAR system testing for this development and deployment program. You will plan, coordinate, and execute developmental and operational testing to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data analysts, and subject matter experts, manage IPT activities, and present findings to program leadership while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in systems testing or test management.
• Minimum 5 years in RADAR system testing, development, or operations.
• Strong understanding of RADAR system principles and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive test plans and schedules for RADAR system testing.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and logistics to ensure test readiness.
• Direct all aspects of RADAR testing across lab, field, and operational environments.
• Lead IPT activities, manage CAM budgets, and present status to customers.
• Ensure compliance with DoD testing policies, cybersecurity and environmental standards.
