Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to enable radar capability development in San Diego, CA. You will perform hands-on testing of hardware and software in Linux environments and troubleshoot complex system issues with a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team.

You will develop test plans, execute procedures, and validate performance of radar systems in String/HWIL facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and program compliance while supporting travel up to 15%

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with relevant experience.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix.
Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software in Linux-based environments.
Troubleshoot system-level issues related to software, hardware and OS under senior guidance.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures and reports per program requirements.
Support system-level test readiness reviews, test execution and post-test analysis.
Integrate radar system software builds in String/HWIL facilities on representative hardware.
Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to meet requirements.
Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards and program processes.
Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically.
