Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support radar capability development in our SE&T Surface Radars & Sensors Center. The role focuses on hands-on hardware/software testing, Linux-based systems, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex technical challenges.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in STEM-related roles, expertise in MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, and networking, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
• Experience with networking principles.
• Experience with Systems Integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a lab environment.
• Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software in Linux-based environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues under guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports; support test readiness reviews and post-test analysis.
