Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior Engineering Project Leader, Associate Director for Advanced Technology to shape the strategy and development of next-generation ground and naval radar technologies. You will provide technical direction across CRAD programs, coordinating IRAD efforts and maturing innovations for operational use.

You will work with engineers across disciplines, lead technical white papers, and drive program management, risk mitigation, and customer-focused content to achieve high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar development in hardware and/or software.
• Experience writing/leading responses to solicitations (RFIs, RFPs) including white papers.
• Experience managing program cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (PI, engineering, contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing).
• Active and transferable Top Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret/SCI after start.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business capture strategies with senior leadership and lead capture and project management.
• Interact with customers to develop strategic radar opportunities, white papers, and proposals.
• Align program teams to customer priorities via requirements development and mission analysis.
• Lead technology trades to identify gaps for radar hardware/software.
• Oversee technology roadmaps for critical radar tech needs.
• Guide white papers and proposal volumes with cross-organizational collaboration.
• Coach and mentor employees within the domain of expertise.
• Manage portfolio investment budget and report on it.
• Travel for customer engagements.
