Job summary

Raytheon Advanced Technology is seeking a multi-disciplinary Engineering Project Leader, Associate Director to shape the strategy and development of next-generation radar technologies for ground and naval systems. You will provide technical direction during CRAD programs and coordinate IRAD projects across disciplines and product lines.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, develop proposals, and drive program outcomes while traveling to customer engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar development in hardware and/or software.
• Experience writing/leading responses to RFIs, RFPs, white papers, and proposals.
• Experience managing program cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including PI, engineering, contracts, finance, and manufacturing.
• Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop capture strategies with senior leadership and lead resulting projects.
• Interact with customers to develop strategic radar opportunities and proposals.
• Align programs to customer priorities via requirements, mission analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Lead tech trade studies to identify radar gaps for new hardware/software.
• Lead technology roadmaps for radar needs across programs.
• Guide technical white papers and proposal content across organizations.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the domain of expertise.
• Manage portfolio investment budgets and report on progress.
• Travel for customer engagements as required.
