Job summary

RTX is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join the LTAMDS program in a demanding, mission-critical role. You will liaise across disciplines, ensure system requirements compliance, and drive technical solutions from concept through field deployment.

You will work with the Chief Engineer and program leads to mature capabilities, coordinate across hardware, software, and test teams, and present technical findings to customers and the government.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required; 12+ years in systems engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary systems engineering teams.
• Radar/sensor experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work across IPT/CPTs supporting development, production, and sustainment.
• Coordinate HW, SW, and test capabilities to ensure interface integrity and design cohesion.
• Mature concepts into optimal solutions; verify system requirements and FCA/SVR deliverables.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer to support capability thread leads for technical execution and integration.
• Guide LTAMDS technical capabilities into optimal solutions and align with program goals.
• Deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers; coordinate with program office and US Govt.
