Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Radar Warfighter team onsite at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO. You will join a small, collaborative group providing technical and operational support for Missile Defense radar systems and warfighter education, wargames, and exercises.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

A STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with radar systems, within the Missile Defense System and related fields.

Responsibilities

Support multiple warfighter organizations across the Missile Defense enterprise.
Provide radar education and training for Combatant Commands, especially Sensor Manager Cells.
Participate in planning conferences, technical interchange meetings, system testing, and execution of Wargames and Exercises as the radar SME.
Contribute to the broader Missile Defense System community and support real-world operational needs.
Analyze operational radar data to support mission outcomes.
Travel domestically and internationally up to ~10% to meet program requirements.
