Job summary

RTX’s Surface Radars & Sensors Center at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sensors Warfighter Support Team onsite. You will work with warfighter communities, analyze radar data, and contribute to missile defense system activities.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, experience with radar systems, and the ability to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems within Missile Defense or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple warfighter organizations within the Missile Defense enterprise.
• Provide radar education and training for Combatant Commands.
• Participate in planning conferences, RTMs, tests, wargames, and exercises as radar SME.
• Contribute to MDS community and support real-world needs.
• Analyze operational radar data to support mission outcomes.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to ~10%.
