Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sensors Warfighter Support Team onsite at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO. You will join a small, highly collaborative team delivering critical radar expertise to warfighter communities and supporting Missile Defense missions.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, and active DoD Secret clearance. Domestic and international travel up to 10% is expected, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems within Missile Defense is required or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple warfighter organizations across the Missile Defense enterprise.
• Provide radar education and training for Combatant Commands.
• Participate in planning conferences, technical interchange meetings, and wargames/exercises as radar SME.
• Contribute to the MDS community and support real‑world operational needs.
• Analyze operational radar data to support mission outcomes.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to ~10%.
