Job summary

RTX in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Sensors Warfighter Support Team onsite at Schriever AFB. You will work with multiple warfighter communities, providing critical radar expertise and supporting diverse missions.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of radar-related experience, including MDS knowledge. Travel up to 10% is expected; on-site work only with a U.S. security clearance process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in radar systems.
• Experience supporting Missile Defense and warfighter missions.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple warfighter organizations across the Missile Defense enterprise.
• Provide radar education and training for Combatant Commands.
• Participate in planning conferences, MDS tests, and wargames as radar SME.
• Contribute to the MDS community and support real-world needs.
• Analyze radar data to support mission outcomes.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
