Senior Radar Systems Engineer, Production-Ready SAR & GMTI

The ReWork Group; United States; On-site; USD 140,000 - 220,000; Full time

Job summary

The ReWork Group is seeking a Senior Radar System Engineer to build production-ready GMTI and change-detection algorithms for a live constellation. You will own the end-to-end pipeline from raw phase history to geolocation and track association, and fuse multi-sensor data to minimize false alarms.

You will ship fast and then harden the system, validating against ground truth and tuning for real-world clutter and terrain to ensure operational accuracy at scale.

Qualifications

• SAR/radar signal processing experience is required.
• Proven ability to deliver production-grade software in radar-related projects.
• Experience with multi-sensor data and real-time constraints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the detection stack with GMTI and change-detection algorithms for live constellations.
• Own the end-to-end pipeline from raw phase history to track association.
• Fuse across the constellation to reduce false alarms and maintain tracks.
• Validate against ground truth, tune for clutter and terrain, and measure operational accuracy.
• Ship a working detector quickly and harden performance and reliability.
