Job summary

Ursa Space Systems seeks a Senior Radar Systems Engineer to develop, implement, and test SAR/EO/RF signal processing algorithms. You will turn prototypes into production‑level code while advancing AMTI and related applications.

The role requires MS/PhD in a technical field, 7–10 years in radar/signal processing, strong Python/Git skills, and excellent collaboration across teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in radar systems or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and Git.
• Experience with remote sensing and signal processing for SAR/RF.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test SAR/EO/RF signal processing algorithms.
• Write production‑grade code across prototype to production stages.
• Design SAR collection parameters for AMTI.
• Evaluate SAR constellations and orbit parameters.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical areas.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in reviews.
