Job summary

Raytheon in Massachusetts seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to help develop requirements, concepts of operations and algorithms for radar systems, working across disciplines to deliver integrated, mission-ready solutions.

You will collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers, perform numerical analyses, and support tool development. May require up to 20% travel. This is an onsite role in MA with relocation eligibility and a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with systems hardware, systems/software requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming language.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
Develop radar processing algorithm.
Develop Radar systems/software requirements.
Be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
Be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution.
Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
This role can be based out of either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.
May require up to 20% travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations to support test events and mission execution.
