Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Plano, Texas seeks a Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar development and analyses for AAS projects. You will serve as the primary interface with USN/USG customers, guiding waveform design and MTI/Tracking efforts onsite.

The role requires a STEM degree with 10+ years in radar, UNIX/Linux, and C/C++/MATLAB/Python expertise, plus DoD Top Secret clearance and US citizenship. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 10+ years in radar development.
• Experience with MTI and tracking algorithms to enable new AAS capabilities.
• Radar mode development including SAR/ISAR and waveform design.
• Security clearance: DoD Top Secret; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary USN/USG technical contact for new radar algorithms.
• Lead a small radar analysts team; support chief and lead systems engineer.
• Perform radar analyses, waveform design, and system trade studies.
• Prepare customer/program briefings and develop innovative waveforms.
