Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead design and integration of COTS computing and networking for next-generation radar solutions in Massachusetts.

You will collaborate with Product Leads and cross-functional teams to translate concepts into hardware designs, and validate them through labs and testing.

The role is onsite in Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA, with domestic and some international travel, and offers relocation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of related experience
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience delivering COTS-based hardware designs

Responsibilities

• Design COTS hardware infrastructure systems
• Research and select servers, workstations, add-in cards, storage
• Engineer BIOS and OS configuration definitions
• Work in a lab with standard test equipment
• Collaborate with hardware teams, supply chain, customers
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
