Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Sensor Calibration Lead in Tucson, AZ to own radar subsystem calibration and maturation across radome, RF sensor, and IMU. You will drive calibration processes with multiple program teams and contribute to overall radar subsystem quality.

You will collaborate with suppliers, design and test teams, perform technical peer reviews, and support lab and field testing for radar and RF subsystems. DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM; 8+ years in flight avionics hardware
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship
• Experience with RF subsystems, radar hardware, or RF seekers
• Experience in requirements development and validation

Responsibilities

• Own radar subsystem calibration process and maturation strategy (radome, RF sensor, IMU)
• Develop calibration tools, workflows, and requirements
• Document calibration processes and maturation plans
• Collaborate with program and off-program teams to calibrate subsystems
• Engage suppliers and design/test teams
• Lead technical peer reviews on radar/RF integration
