Job summary

RTX seeks a highly experienced RF engineering leader to drive the design and integration of RF sensor hardware for radar and missile programs. You will head a cross-disciplinary team onsite in Tucson, overseeing supplier activities, validating performance, and aligning technical, cost, and schedule targets with program leadership and customers.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s with 8+ years in RF/Radar hardware development, and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have STEM bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience including team leadership and cost/schedule tracking.
• Experience with RF/Radar hardware development and validation, and with overseeing supplier activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team executing complex RF sensor development and integration
• Provide technical management and oversight of suppliers, including design, build, deliveries, and issue resolution
• Conduct performance assessments and verify component requirements meet mission needs
• Ensure alignment of technical performance, cost, and schedule between supplier and program
• Serve as liaison between suppliers, program leadership, and customer
