Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque seeks a driven R&D Systems Engineer to lead interactions with NSA, certify and deliver high-consequence cryptographic systems, and contribute to requirements management and verification.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop traceability, verification plans, and documentation, and support the warfighter mission in partnership with USAF, NSA, KCNSC and others. Travel up to 25% and onsite work required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of directly relevant experience
• Active US DOE-Q or DoD TS security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Sigma 15 access

Responsibilities

• Drive development, decomposition, traceability, and validation of functional, interface, and security requirements
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to overcome challenging technical challenges
• Lead engagement with the NSA on security requirements and certification documentation delivery
• Collaborate with end users to document procedures for operational use of products
• Develop requirements traceability reports, verification/validation plans, and qualification plans
