Job summary

CommScope in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Project Manager III, R&D to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects from ideation through to market launches. You will coordinate schedules, resources, and budgets, mitigate risks, and report progress to executives.

The role requires 6–8 years in project management, strong English communication, and the ability to travel up to 10% while working on-site at the Shakopee facility. Master’s degree and PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of project or product management experience.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience leading, forming, influencing and managing teams.
• Exposure to New Product development processes within and governed by the organization.
• Experience with financial data and project financial indicators, such as project budget tracking and reporting.
• Initiator/motivator; proactive attitude and a sense of urgency with a drive to get results.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with conflict resolution and facilitation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and to work at the Shakopee, MN facility five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources and activities across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, and recovery plans to stakeholders and leadership.
• Monitor project budgets, commitments, and performance metrics.
• Drive accountability for action items and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with PMO processes and project governance.
