Job summary
Specialist Staffing Group seeks an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead catheter/implantable device projects from concept to commercialization. You will drive cross-functional development, define scope, and build detailed plans with budgets, delivering on time and within quality standards in Plymouth, MN.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years leadership in medical devices, 4+ years PM, and strong MS Project skills; PMP or advanced degree
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years leadership in medical device/biomedical/high technology industries and 4+ years PM.
- Strong organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills; MS Project proficiency.
- Experience budgeting, financial tracking; familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall.
Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
- Define scope, objectives, and develop detailed plans, schedules and budgets.
- Monitor progress, milestones; adjust plans as needed.
- Manage resources, assess and mitigate risks; escalate issues timely.
- Communicate with stakeholders; maintain documentation and governance.
- Drive process improvements across projects.
