Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions is looking for a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA. You will guide a multidisciplinary team supporting product and application development, primarily for the Cleaning Growth Platform, ensuring safe operations and strong portfolio execution.

The role requires strategic leadership across functions, collaboration with global R&D and Marketing, and a track record of delivering innovative technology platforms that drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex technical work, and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team; set priorities, allocate resources, manage performance, and foster engagement.
• Attract and retain talent, conduct development discussions, and align people with business strategy.
• Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations in Collegeville; champion EHS policies and behaviors.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms; drive stage-gate progress.
• Lead cross-functional Front End Team and translate strategy into research priorities and execution plans.
• Oversee project delivery against milestones with rigorous scientific methods and clear documentation.
