Job summary
Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader to head a 13-person multi-site team in Collegeville, PA and Midland, MI, driving product development for the Cleaning Growth Platform and related markets. The role blends people leadership, safe lab operations, and portfolio execution to deliver innovative products and sustainable growth.
You will partner across Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, and Commercial teams to advance research, implementation, and commercialization, while engaging
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex technical work, and collaborate across functions.
- Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
- U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team; set priorities and allocate resources.
- Build organizational capability by attracting and retaining talent and aligning assignments with strategy.
- Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations, championing EH&S policies.
- Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
