Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader to guide a multidisciplinary team across Collegeville and Midland, delivering product and technology platforms for the Cleaning Growth Platform and related markets.

The role emphasizes leadership, safe lab operations, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, TS&D, and Commercial teams to advance research and commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex technical work, and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team across Collegeville and Midland.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, manage performance, and foster engagement and inclusion.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and champion EHS policies.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Translate strategy into research priorities, charters, and execution plans.
• Oversee project delivery, ensure rigorous methods, and remove roadblocks.
