Job summary

CRH plc's APAC Central Inc. quarry is seeking a proactive Quarry Foreperson to lead daily operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity in Arkansas.

You will coordinate with the Quarry Superintendent to plan production, maintenance, and service, while mentoring a field team and driving continuous improvement. You will schedule crew assignments, train operators, and step in on general labor when needed, ensuring OSHA/MSHA compliance and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of relevant experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Willingness to travel or work away from home as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quarry operations and maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate with Quarry Superintendent on production and repairs.
• Schedule maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Train and supervise plant and equipment operators.
• Oversee attendance and manage shift coverage.
