Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to oversee local quarry operations in Oklahoma. The role leads production teams, coordinates third‑party blasting, and champions safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stone production and quality control.
• Supervisory experience is highly valued; leadership potential encouraged.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; basic math.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional engagement with employees, management, and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and in challenging situations.
• Ability to interpret instructions, solve complex problems, and document findings clearly.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarry operations teams through supervision and scheduling.
• Oversee daily start-up, production, and shutdown of plants.
• Direct maintenance activities and manage planned shutdowns for reliability.
• Plan and coordinate production resources to meet safety, quality and output goals.
• Communicate operational status with Area and Operations Managers; implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues and address bottlenecks proactively.
• Manage employee schedules and timekeeping records.
• Coordinate drilling and blasting activities with third-party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties to support quarry operations.
