Job summary

CRH–Midsouth Aggregates is seeking a Plant/Site Manager to oversee day-to-day quarry operations, personnel, scheduling, and maintenance. The role focuses on ensuring efficient site operation, safety compliance, and product quality across multi-site operations in the Southeast U.S.

The candidate will manage staff, enforce MSHA safety programs, control costs, and drive performance while maintaining strong customer service and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate personnel.
• Oversee safety programs and compliance (MSHA).
• Manage quarry workforce daily.
• Direct work at locations and sites.
• Maintain quality assurance of the quarry.
• Oversee property upkeep.
• Control expenditures and maximize profits.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment; report repairs.
• Assist with investigations and compliance.
• Review time cards and attendance.
• Communicate company policies.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
