Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Plant/Site Manager to oversee the quarry's day-to-day operations and to lead personnel, safety, scheduling and maintenance for efficient site performance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, enforcing MSHA safety programs, managing the workforce, maintaining quality, and controlling costs while ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Requires HS diploma/GED and 3+ years' related experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in plant maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach personnel.
• Enforce safety programs and policies.
• Manage quarry workforce daily.
• Direct work at sites.
• Maintain quality assurance of the quarry.
• Ensure routine upkeep of property.
• Control expenditures and maximize profits.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment; report repairs.
• Assist with investigations and compliance.
• Analyze hazardous conditions.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Issue discipline per leadership.
• Report problems to Superintendent/Human Resources.
• Review time cards and attendance.
• Adhere to company policies.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary.
• Attend regularly.
• Other duties as assigned.
