Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Plant/Site Manager to lead daily quarry operations, supervise personnel, schedule work, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role requires coordinating maintenance, inventory, and reporting while maintaining strong teamwork across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in plant maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate and monitor heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and motivate personnel.
• Oversee safety programs and enforce policies (MSHA/OSHA).
• Manage daily quarry workforce and direct work at sites.
• Maintain quality assurance and routine property upkeep.
• Control expenditures and maximize site and company profits.
• Monitor inventory levels and report repairs needed.
• Complete paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Discipline as directed by leadership and communicate problems.
• Must operate heavy equipment when necessary.
