Job summary

The role emphasizes disciplined execution, leadership, and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate will manage system-level analyses, configuration control, and documentation while driving safety, quality, and performance across complex quantum hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or technical environment experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams or people leadership.
• U.S. person status required (citizenship, permanent resident, or qualified work status).
• National security requirement excludes certain nationalities unless citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across systems, reliability, safety, configuration, project, and product engineering.
• Oversee DFMEA/FMEA, system safety and reliability analyses, maintainability, and verification management.
• Coordinate readiness for integration, validation, deployment, and sustainment across functions.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through integration, maintainability, and sustainability in design.
• Foster ownership, priority, and accountability within the team and align with customer deployments.
