Quantinuum in Brooklyn Park, MN seeks a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers supporting the product lifecycle of quantum computers. You will drive system-level engineering, from validation through deployment and sustainment, and partner across functions to ensure schedule, cost, quality, and performance goals are met.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering environments and 4+ years in people leadership, with a U.S. Person status.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of engineering/manufacturing/R&D experience.
• 4+ years leading a team of engineers.
• U.S. Person status required by contract terms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team spanning systems, reliability, safety, configuration, project and product engineering activities for the product lifecycle (system level focus).
• Ensure robust product engineering practices including DFMEA/FMEA, system safety and reliability analysis, maintainability and verification management.
• Drive engineering readiness for integration, validation, deployment, and sustainment, coordinating people, parts, facilities, tooling, documentation, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement cost reduction through design for maintainability and sustainability.
• Establish clear ownership, priorities, and accountability within the team balancing product-level and customer deployment needs.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, lessons learned, and safety improvements across projects.
• Establish a site-wide gemba process across R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to observe work and identify improvement opportunities.
