Job summary

IonQ, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Customer Success Manager, Quantum Adoption & Technical Enablement.

This remote role places you as the primary customer-facing technical expert, driving adoption of IonQ's trapped-ion quantum computers and bridging platform knowledge with customer needs. You'll design curricula, create workshops, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and help customers optimize performance, circuit design, and workflow integration.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience creating customer-facing technical content such as training material, success plans, playbooks, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Technical Onboarding & Platform Mastery: Facilitate adoption for major accounts by translating contract terms into technical provisioning, leading onboarding sessions, and managing day-to-day technical engagement operations.
• Performance Optimization & Circuit Design: Guide customers on designing quantum circuits and workflows in collaboration with quantum compiler and system experts.
• Technical Support & Blocker Removal: Standardize troubleshooting workflows and provide high-touch technical support to remove barriers to adoption.
• Curriculum & Enablement Content: Create workshops and curricula including code, circuits, slides, and videos to empower customers.
• Product Advocacy: Represent user perspective with Product, Cloud Platform, Data Engineering, and Ops teams.
