Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in economics, health services research, health policy, or related field with 4+ years of CMS/CMMI experience.
• Experience designing and evaluating CMS/CMMI APMs; both implementation and evaluation preferred.
• Proficiency with Databricks and cloud analytics; strong skills in Power BI/Tableau.
• Programming in SAS, R, Python, or SQL; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Eligibility to obtain CMS background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct implementations and evaluations of APMs.
• Translate model design into operational methodologies using claims and enrollment data.
• Lead and collaborate on methodology documents and evaluation reports.
• Partner with economists, data scientists, and engineers on prototyping and ML-based methods.
• Prepare proposals for CMS/CMMI and other federal agencies and manage project teams.
