Job summary

Commence is seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to drive implementation and evaluation of CMS/CMMI alternative payment models. You will work with data science and technology teams to develop analytics, model implementations, and evaluation methodologies that inform federal health program decisions.

You will lead design and execution of studies, produce actionable insights, and contribute to proposals for CMS/CMMI and other agencies.

Qualifications

• PhD required or strongly preferred in economics, health services research, health policy, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct evaluations of CMS/CMMI alternative payment models.
• Translate policy goals into operational methodologies using claims data and other sources.
• Lead and collaborate on methodology documents, evaluation reports and client briefings.
• Collaborate with economists, data scientists, and engineers to apply ML-based methods on the Commence platform.
