Job summary

Golden State Foods seeks a Sr. Quality Systems Supervisor in Conyers, GA to lead food safety and regulatory compliance for Liquid Products. You will ensure HACCP, GMP, and QA programs meet customer and regulatory standards while supporting product development.

You will audit suppliers, coordinate third-party audits, train staff, and drive sanitation and documentation improvements to sustain quality and safety across the division.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or other technical disciplines required.
• 5-8 years in QA or related technical discipline in the Food Industry; senior technician or management capacity preferred.
• Training in Sanitation GMP, HACCP, SSOP, SPC; Sanitarian Certification, ISO 9000 knowledge, and PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management: review and enhance suppliers' programs for quality and safety; conduct audits and support product development.
• Lead the Liquid Products Food Safety program; prepare HACCP documents and conduct quarterly HACCP training.
• Conduct yearly HACCP document updates and monthly HACCP & GMP audits; ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Coordinate third-party audits and maintain liaison with auditors and regulators; follow up on corrective actions.
• Contribute to pre-operational inspections and sanitation program updates; oversee pest control activities.
• Provide technical support to Product Development and Operations on process capabilities and QA standards.
