A leading food company located in Morrow, Georgia is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality assurance operations. The role involves supervising QA teams, conducting audits, and implementing training programs to ensure compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to three years experience in a Quality Assurance function.

Responsabilités

• Supervise quality assurance technicians to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coach QA personnel for performance improvement.
• Conduct audits for food safety compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive improvements.
• Prepare and conduct training for QA staff.

Connaissances

Technical knowledge of food processing

Oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Bilingual English/Spanish

Experience with ISO 22000 or equivalent system

Experience in food manufacturing

Formation

B.S. in Food Science, Science or Technical Discipline
