Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Quality Systems Engineer to own and advance the quality management system for Battlespace Awareness. You will lead QMS processes, audits, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance across AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.

You will engage with product quality engineering and manufacturing to solve quality problems at the source, not just in documentation, and you will drive continuous improvement and measurable quality KPIs across the BA site in Fort Collins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing with 8+ years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment (AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015).
• Experience with ESD, FOD, counterfeit programs; knowledge of GIDEP, FAR, ASSIST.
• Ability to own corrective action systems and drive from start to completion.
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM/BI systems to build quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the BA quality management system and top-level processes.
• Lead QMS planning including quality objectives, risk, and Management Review cycles.
• Own internal audit program end-to-end and supervise auditors.
• Manage supplier and external provider audit programs under AS9100D.
• Support first article inspection, nonconforming material, MRB, and field escapes with Product Quality Engineering.
• Maintain registrar relationships and manage certification cycles, surveillance, and customer audits.
• Own quality KPIs and build dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Conduct 6S and FOD audits on the production floor; manage ESD and counterfeit prevention programs.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action from audits and customer visits.
• Develop document/record control and QMS training materials for personnel.
• Collaborate with product and manufacturing engineers during NP development to meet QMS.
