Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior QMS Engineer to own and advance the quality management system for Battlespace Awareness.

You will lead process ownership, audits, supplier qualification, and MRB activities on AS9100/ISO programs, partnering with product and manufacturing teams to drive quality on mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes hands-on floor work, data-driven improvement, and diligent documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment — AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015; equivalent depth in AS9110C, AS9120B, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485 will be considered.
• Trained AS9100D internal auditor, or able to complete certification within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ownership of a corrective action system — not just participation in investigations.
• Working knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems and the ability to build quality reporting from them.
• Experience working with DCMA, DFARs, and other government and defense programs and requirements.
• Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
• U.S. Person status is required and travel ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Own the BA quality management system top-level processes — keep procedures, work instructions, and records current, compliant, and used.
• Lead QMS planning: objectives, risk management, and Management Review cycle; prepare inputs and track actions.
• Own the internal audit program end to end across the certification cycle and drive closure of findings.
• Manage supplier and external provider audits; coordinate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams.
• Support first article inspection, nonconforming material disposition, and field escapes with Product Quality Engineering.
• Oversee registrar relationship and certification cycle; participate in customer audits and responses.
• Own QA KPIs; build dashboards and report monthly to leadership; drive corrective actions.
• Run 6S and FOD audits on the production floor and manage ESD and counterfeit programs.
