Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior QMS Engineer to own and advance the quality management system for Battlespace Awareness, collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver reliable, compliant products.

You will lead audits, manage supplier quality, and drive continuous improvement across the QMS while growing toward Product Quality Engineering or building systems depth on the product side.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Deep working knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment — AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
• Trained AS9100D internal auditor or able to certify within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ownership of a corrective action system, not just participation in investigations.
• Working knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems to build quality reporting.
• Experience with DCMA, DFARs, and government/defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the BA quality management system and top-level processes; keep procedures current and used.
• Lead AS9100D planning: quality objectives, risk management, Management Review cycle.
• Own the internal audit program end-to-end and drive closure of findings.
• Manage supplier audits and corrective actions with Supply Chain teams.
• Support first article inspection, nonconforming material, and MRB disposition.
• Oversee registrar relationships and certification cycles, including customer audits.
• Define and report quality KPIs with dashboards for leadership.
