Job summary

Siemens Industry in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality department, directing a team of about 8 direct reports and more than 100 staff overall. The role focuses on delivering product and engineering quality, cost, delivery, and customer service while driving continuous improvement.

You will implement the Quality Management System, update procedures, respond to customer complaints with containment and corrective actions, manage supplier quality, and report KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar required.
• 8+ years of quality or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, APQP, Core Tools, 8D, DMAIC, Lean, PPAP, FMEA.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to best-practice quality vision and strategies to improve performance.
• Lead 8 direct reports and oversee 100+ staff in the QM department.
• Develop and improve training methodologies and systems.
• Implement QMS procedures and ensure compliance.
• Update in-house systems to meet external certification needs.
• Respond to customer complaints with containment and corrective actions.
• Act as the point of contact for warranty issues and claims.
• Manage Quality Engineers and Technicians in sign-off of parts and issue resolution.
• Report quality metrics monthly.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Assurance to reduce non-conforming materials impact.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for each area.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure performance.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
